different ethnic groups. This variety in some cases has been harmed by racism.

Mestizos: The mestizos are the descendants of the mixture between

European and indigenous creoles. Belize has a majority mestizo population, but they are also present in the United States and Canada.

Creoles: Caucasian population, descended from European colonizers.

African Americans: The presence of African descendants throughout AngloSaxon America, including the United States and Canada, is important. The countries with the majority African-American population are mainly in the Lesser Antilles, but they are also the Bahamas, Jamaica and Guyana.

Eastern: Immigrants from the Far East (China, Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan, etc.) and the Middle East (Arabia, Turkey, Israel) mostly arrived in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
